Hey Y’all! If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while or are subscribed to my Youtube Channel, you know that I’ve started sharing my luxury purchases with this very special community. Given the importance of normalizing luxury in our lives, especially for black women, I’ve decided to create a wishlist and start sharing it with y’all each year.
This is my inaugural wishlist that I created a few weeks ago to keep me focused on the items that I want, avoid impulse purchases, and just see how my style evolves year-over-year! To be honest, what I’ve learned most recently is the value of going into the stores when and if possible. We live in such a digital-first era, where e-commerce is only continuing to grow, however the ability to try-on items, touch them, see them against my body, and determine my personal use cases for them is invaluable.
Doing that has allowed me to cross off items my list and replace them with something different. Of course, there is the research component to luxury purchases as well, that I discussed in a previous blog post called 5 Thing To Consider Before Purchasing A Luxury Handbag and recently on my YouTube channel.
Alright, without further adieu, here is my 2021 luxury wishlist.

That’s all folks! In case you’re wondering, these images do not necessarily represent the color and sizes that I am seeking for each item. What I chose to do was source my favorite images from Pinterest for illustrative purposes. Y’all know I like to maintain some element of surprise, as it just keeps things interesting!
Make sure you let me know what’s on your personal luxury wishlist in the comments below. I always love to learn what y’all have your eyes on, as I am fairly new to the game.
