Can’t Stop Blushing

Can we take a moment to give it up for the Chicago weather this past weekend? *Insert round of applause sound bite here* It has been incredible for this time of year, despite the fact that this weather has caused my allergies to flare up…my body is just SO confused and trying to figure out what’s going on! But I’ll take it over the brutal cold. It’s been nice to trade in my down coat for a windbreaker these past few days.

Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled programming! I recently wore this outfit to brunch with the girls, and there’s just something about it that I absolutely adore. Perhaps it reminds me of spring or it helps me incorporate color into my wardrobe…I think its a little bit of both!

Surprisingly, this was my first time layering this sweater, which is why I decided to keep things super simple and paired it with this crisp white blouse. I usually like to wear this sweater with black jeans, but decided to switch it up and wear white jeans instead. Side note: I bought these white jeans in 2014 from Topshop, and I just now started wearing them in December 2016…I have no idea what I was waiting for… To complete this look, I debated between strappy heels or sneakers, but opted for the heels because it felt so right, especially knowing that I was going to be downtown.
