Step 1: Prime Time
Britt’s Pick: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Hydrating
How To Use: Squeeze a pea size amount of primer onto your hands (make sure the they are clean) and apply all over your face. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way! Preserve thy cosmetic s y’all.
Step 2: Foundation
Britt’s Pick: Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Foundation SPF 15 in Cool Golden. See why I’m completely obsessed with this foundation HERE!
How To Use: Squeeze 1-2 pumps onto the back of your hand, and use a foundation brush to even apply onto your face. As an additional step, afterwards I like to also use a slightly dampened beauty blender to really blend out your foundation and soften any harsh lines. Remember to stipple, not rub. FYI: To stipple is to bounce the beauty blender along the skin, pressing slightly on the surface.
Step 3: Conceal
Britt’s Pick: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Caramel
How To Use: Take the concealer, dab small dots under your eyes and onto the bridge of your nose, and use a beauty blender to blend this out. Another friendly reminder to stipple, and not rub y’all!
Step 4: Contour
Britt’s Pick: Fenty Beauty Match Stick in Mocha
How To Use: Create a line at the hollows of your cheeks, right below the hairline of your forehead, and the left & right side of your nose. Blend this out with our favorite blending brush or beauty blender. I’ll confess that sometimes I like to do both, because I’m a little extra! Blend until any sharp divisions between the lighter and darker foundation are no longer visible. Keeping it natural!
Step 5: Signature Cheek
How To Use: In this case, I will encourage y’all to take a look at a preivious post of mine called Achieving A Signature Cheek HERE. In steps 3 thru 5 I give a full break down of my cheek technique using these exact same products!
Step 6: Brows Baby!
